South Park Canadian References
Not Without My Anus - 201
Because it is all about Canada it is not really a reference, but here are the main ones
- Kroff Dinner - or Kraft Dinner, in Canada our Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is called Kraft
Dinner. There is also an American stereotype of us liking Macaroni and Cheese, maybe its
true.
- Celine Dion - Terrance had a bustard child with our popular Canadian signer
- Roughriders - Reference to the time we had two CFL teams called the Roughriders and
Rough Riders
- O'Canada - We got two correct singings of O'Canada, unlike that one singing at the US
CFL game (what music did he sing it to again)
- Our Dialect - Aboot the way some Canadians pronounce about. Some of the others are
borrowed from England that we don't use that much, like telly (TV), newsie (new story),
and raspberry (shucks).
- Canadian Symbols - Canadian Flag (displayed right side up too), Maple Leaf, a hockey
player, Mountie, and moose
- Canadians get American TV form Americans satellites with those illegal mini dishes.
Jokes about Canada and Canadians
- All the places were referred to like Canada was a town. Like Downtown Canada and Canada
Airport.
- All Canadian look alike. I found this one odd because most Americans think Canadians
look like them, and we do.
A note about this episode, Comedy Central was flooded with complaints with the airing
of this show. Global didn't get one think about that.
