The Canadian
X-Files
Welcome to the Canadian X-Files. This page serves as a
reference for every time the X-Files have mentioned Canada. Aside from
the fact that the X-Files was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
for the first 5 seasons, many other references to our fine country have
popped up throughout the X-Files run. Here for your entertainment are all
the references to Canada on the X-Files that I could find along with the
episode name and description of the episode.
Note: As most people know
the X-Files has moved to Los Angeles. Canadian fans, like myself, can only
hope that the producers don't forget the Canadian plot threads that they've
developed over the years now that the show has moved to the United States.
The End (Season finale of season 5)
A BOY POSSESSING PSYCHIC POWERS MAY HOLD THE KEY TO UNLOCKING
THE MYSTERIES OF THE X-FILES.
The Chess competition between the 12-year-old American boy and the

more of a sad note, this episode was the last episode filmed in Vancouver,
British Columbia.

has to figure out the password. He notices a snowdome of a pysanka (Ukrainian
easter egg) and the word Vegreville.
He types in Vegreville for the password and it works. Vegreville is a small
Ukrainian town in Alberta, about 100 km east of Edmonton. It's claim to
fame is a huge pysanka in the centre of town.

TO THE DEATHS OF SEVERAL GIRLS WHOSE SPIRITS ATTEMPTED TO MAKE CONTACT
